Sowing to the Spirit
There is a profound spiritual principle of sowing and reaping, and this law applies both to our present reality and to eternity. Whether we sow to our flesh or to our spirit, all our actions have long-term and eternal consequences.
HODL Truth
We can "buy" the truth by spending time with God and reading His word. The analogy of bitcoin suggests that when we spend time in the Word, it is like mining bitcoins
Guidance in the midst of adversity
Life can bring hardships and suffering. The key verse here explains that suffering is like bread and water, which are necessities. The word "adversity" refers to our enemies, which is a spiritual reality that Satan attempts to devour us. The word "affliction" refers to oppression, and these sufferings are inevitable.
God's foundation with His timing
it may appear that things are not moving, or too slow, but God has been at work behind the scenes laying a precious cornerstone as our foundation that will build us up.
The Spirit of Counsel and Might
Having counsel without might is just empty talk, while having might without counsel is just beating the air.
God is my reward
“I am your” indicates a personal relationship. Because of this everlasting relationship, God promises to provide security, protection (like a shield) and an exceedingly great reward which means abundant blessings, exceedingly favor and a glorious future.
A New Year of Open Doors
Dalet has the numerical value of four, but Chinese don't like the sound of four. The number four is a favorable number in Hebrew, representing good news
Completed in divine delays
"Complete" in today's key verse is Katartismos, which means preparation, equipment, and completion. It is an important process to develop spiritual maturity and refine our character and faith in God.
Filtered mouths and ears
Therefore, I believe a strong spiritual filter in our mouth and ears can give us a steadfast spirit so we are not tossed around by people's opinions or confused by their words.
Diligence hindrances
Lack of focus is not the only obstacle to diligence; I also believe that comfort and lack of zeal are major obstacles. Clearly, sloth is the opposite of diligence and a trait that can also be defined as apathy and a love of comfort.
Comparison is a trap
This trap only leads to two roads: If we are better, we are led to pride; if we are worse, we are led to intimidation, for some people may feel inferiority and fear.
Overcoming shame (Part 2)
The glory of God is known as light (Revelation 21:23). It requires our faith to trade our shame for His glory, so that we no longer withhold our brokenness and pain from God in darkness, but expose all our shame to Him. Shame dies when exposed to light.
Overcoming shame (Part 1)
Therefore, guilt refers to "DOING" something wrong, while shame refers to "BEING" something wrong. Since shame attacks our identity, being who we are, it is the devil's favorite weapon.
Embracing the good and the bad
So we can accept ourselves and give ourselves self-compassion. "I forgive myself" is the kindest words we can say to ourselves.
Love God first
True life change will happen when we love God first as His love transforms and softens our hearts. This will enable us to fulfill the greatest commandment: "love the Lord with all our hearts".
Trial, Temptation and Discipline (Part 2)
It doesn't matter whether we are confronting trials, temptations, or God's discipline, His love and His purposes will prevail!
Trial, Temptation and Discpline (Part 1)
It is difficult to distinguish whether an issue is a test from God, a temptation from the devil, or God's discipline. Understanding the distinctions will provide us with wisdom and the right attitude in responding to and navigating these situations.
The ministry of reconciliation
Additionally, he used the dumpling theory that a person can't be full with one dumpling. It may take 8-10 dumplings to be full, so even if he were the first to offer the first dumpling or the last to bring people to Christ, that's up to God.
The loop of denial (Part 3)
Balance between "Grace and truth" is one of the most important but hardest lessons we need to learn in life. Sometimes we are too much "grace" in relationships, and too soft on the truth because we want to be peacekeepers instead of peacemakers.
The loop of denial (Part 2)
Although I was stunned by that open vision, I knew that denial is the devil's spiritual tactic to blind us from God's truth and seeing the whole picture. It was hard to convince my friend verbally, but I know it must be done spiritually.
