Perhaps Today Part 5

Perhaps Today, I will Experience the Suddenlies of God.

Jesus replied, “What is impossible with man is possible with God.” (Luke 18:27)

Spiritual growth is a journey—a lifelong process of sanctification marked by seasons of development and change. Yet, we must leave room for what I call the "suddenlies of God." His power is not bound by time or process. One touch from Him can bring healing, deliverance, and transformation in an instant.

Throughout Scripture, we see how encountering Jesus brought immediate change. The apostles experienced radical transformation. Those who met Jesus—whether it was the blind, the sick, or the lost—were instantly healed, restored, and given new purpose. These moments remind us that while growth may take time, God can move miraculously at any moment.

Today, let’s reject the lie that things will always stay the same or that change is impossible. Instead, let’s walk in faith, trusting that the Holy Spirit is alive and active. Perhaps today is the day God moves powerfully in your life.

What areas of your life need the touch of God? Are there doubts or fears holding you back from believing that He can bring transformation today?

Prayer:
Abba Father, thank You that nothing is impossible with You. I open my heart to Your touch today. I surrender my doubts and invite Your “suddenlies” into my life. In Jesus’ name, amen.
