Along with the national level or territorial warfare, the spirit of Amalek will also attack us on a personal level. In the key verse today, it states that the Amalek attacks us when we are tired and weary.

Perfectionists may struggle to rest, but resting in God does not mean doing nothing or being passive. Instead, it is a heart attitude of laying down our burdens and receiving the love of Christ.

Perfectionism also robs us of peace with ourselves, others, and God, because perfectionism is intolerant of weakness, so our inner critic torments us by pointing out our flaws. As a result, we wage constant war on ourselves.

Thus, perfectionism may be rooted in emotional wounds and negligence as well as a lack of healing processes for negative emotions from the past, which leads to feelings of shame, unworthiness, anger, and discontent etc.

Farming requires hard work, dedication, and patience. (James 5:7), we are called to wait patiently between sowing and reaping, even though we sow in tears, we will reap in joy!

It is God's grace that He sends people filled with God's spirit who are able to draw us from the deep waters of our souls. Particularly for those who love us enough to ask the deep question and are courageous enough to confront us that leave no sin buried and fear in our hearts.

Our Christian walk can sometimes be the wall or the door. When someone is faithful and steadfast like a wall, we can honor them. As others are like a door, do not dishonor them, but protect and support them.

Would you like to receive more of the Holy Spirit? Ask and you shall receive. The Holy Spirit will quench your thirst and even overflow it. Let rivers of living water overflow from our inner being!

I will always remember this pivotal moment of my born again experience. It opens up for me how the Holy Spirit can empower us with constant spiritual renewal and transformation.

Romantic love can be like an avocado that looks ripe on the outside but is still unripe inside. Sometimes we take the fruit too early, missing the pleasure and nutrients.

In dealing with our sufferings well, we can praise God, especially before victory manifests. When we praise God, we declare that we have already won and that God is the victory.

"Excellence" is often defined in worldly culture as high achievement driven by perfectionism. It is especially societal and cultural expectations that drive us to achieve more, therefore stress more, and the media portrays excellence as a sign of prestige, comfort, and convenience.

A good report also refers to a good reputation. Simply put, reputation is someone's perspective on our lives. Although not everyone can give an accurate account of others, our character, consistent deeds, and words do form our reputation.

With lovely thoughts in our hearts, we can be relational like Jesus, who loves to serve and spends time with others. We will conform to His image of compassion and love for those around us.

Our thinking's fourth attribute is "pure," which is where we can dwell liberally. Whether it is a sexual thought, a malice thought, or a greedy thought, impure thoughts constantly invade our minds.

Consequently, when our minds are filled with faith and truly believe that Jesus's sacrifices are sufficient for us and capable of forgiving all sin and cleansing our unrighteousness, our minds are free from shame, condemnation and accusation.

Though the word chivalrous sounds masculine and knightly, it also expresses kindness, restraint, courtesy, and grace applicable to both men and women. Especially in the Bible, there are many female chivalrous characters like Ruth and Esther.

In Greek, honorable means reverend and venerable. In my understanding, this refers to character with high in ethical standards and nobility. I immediately associate the word honorable with “chivalry”.

Our minds are powerful devices that direct our actions, decisions, and words, and Proverbs 23:7 says: "For as he thinks in his heart, so is he." What we think and what we put into our minds are so important

When we are humbled, we put people first, which promotes the unconditional love of God; humility restores broken relationships, wins people's respect so we can spread hope and witness our faith;
